Better Homes & Gardens Vintage Rose Embroidered Cottage Chic Kitchen Curtain Tier & Valance Set

I have been on the search for the perfect curtains for our kitchen.  I love the look of these curtains but I wish they were not so see through because I prefer that my neighbors not be able to see in my windows at night.  The material is a see through mesh type material.
The rose design on the curtains is embroidered and it is very pretty.  The roses are a dark pink surrounded by a lighter pink and then there is gold and green for the vines and leaves.  I love the scalloped edges on the valance, it really lends a vintage feel to the curtains.
The only problem I have with these curtains is that they are too long for my window.   I don't blame the curtains for that though because I think I just have a really short window since every curtain I have found is too long.  I'm sad though because I love these curtains but, I don't think I would be able to hem them because of the type of material they are.  I am trying to convince my husband to put some curtain rods on my back door because these would look great on the window of the door.  If I can't convince him of that then I will gift them to my sister (lucky her!).  If you are in the market for sheer curtains then I would definitely recommend that you check these out.
