I have been looking for a new bathroom scale for a while now because the scale I was using was the old style that had a dial to set it to zero.  This WeighMaster scale by Ozeri is a huge improvement over my old scale.  The scale is a digital scale that is packed with features and comes in two colors (white and black).  Here is a list of the features taken from the product listing:

  • BMI with Weight Change Detection Technology -- Instantly displays your BMI (Body Mass Index), current weight, and your net weight change since your most recent weigh-in, last 3 and 7 weigh-ins.
  • Accurate Weight Tracking with 7 Day Memory -- By measuring your weight once a day, the Ozeri WeightMaster empowers you to see how your weight changes from the previous day, the last 3 days and the previous week.
  • Smart LCD with Color Alert Technology – allows you to focus on your weight trend instead of the actual numbers by displaying your weight change in color, with a GREEN illumination for weight loss and RED illumination for weight gain.
  • Immediate and Flawless Results -- Performs and displays all calculations on the scale’s LCD without complicated syncing or data connection failures common to more expensive wireless and Bluetooth alternatives.
  • Quality Construction with Built-in Intelligence -- Weighs up to 400 lbs with auto-recognition technology for 5 unique users. Auto-calibrates with StepOn technology. Made out of impact-resistant glass, and equipped with non-slip scratch-resistant feet.
I love that you can set the scale for multiple users, that way you can track weight for each member of your household (if you choose to do so).  I did find it somewhat difficult to set up a new user but after a few tries, I was able to get it figured out.  I like that I can instantly know if I have lost or gained weight based on the color shown on the scale. Red means you gained weight and green means you lost weight.  I also like that the scale instantly comes on when I step on it.  My dog, Hazel, steps on it all the time.  Maybe she is concerned about her weight too?  The scale seems to be accurate, I was weighed at my doctor recently and when I checked at home that same day I was at the same weight that my doctor recorded.  I like that the scale is wider than my old one because I'm not exactly skinny so a wider scale makes it easier to actually look down and see my weight.  The feet on the bottom of the scale are great, I haven't had any issues with the scale moving when I step on it.  You do have to make sure that you don't get on the scale when wet because the glass can be slippery (this is noted by a warning label on the scale).
Overall, this is a fantastic scale that gives me all of the information I could need to accurately track my weight.  At $29.95 you really can't beat the value.  If you would like to view or purchase the product, you can do so here.
