The smell of this tea is really not pleasant at all but, the taste is very pleasant. It has a taste that is a bit spicy and a little tart. I really do enjoy the taste of the tea. I have always struggled with sleep so I was excited to try this tea. I don't have a problem falling asleep but I can never stay asleep for more than an hour or two at a time. I have been drinking this tea every night before bed. I have slept through the night every night since I started drinking this tea. I am so glad to have finally found something that allows me a good nights rest. I will continue to drink this tea every night for however long it works. I definitely recommend this tea but if you are sensitive to smells I suggest putting the tea in a mug that has a lid. As long as I can't smell it I can enjoy drinking it.
